There are various ways to consume Mustard:

  1. Honey Mustard dressing is one of the easiest shake-and-pour dressing recipes ever. Mustard, honey, vegetable oil, vinegar, and a pinch of salt together form a deli classic and perfect topping for the salad. Yellow mustard is generally the classic choice but grainy mustard is also great.
  2. Vinaigrette is the mustard dressing which is a classic tender green. It’s evenly delicious with sweet roasted parsnips and turnips and zippy coleslaw. To make rich mustard dressing without much oil mustard is required to be baked first.
  3. Mustard glazes are great for festivals such as Christmas or Easter ham! Topping of mustard-brown sugar glaze with Baked chicken wings, thighs, or tenders are awesome.
  4. Spaetzle of the German dumpling will go well with lots of stews by adding mustard to it.
  5. Dijon dips requires combination of two ingredients i.e. mustard and mayonnaise and there is a dip for crudités, or steamed artichokes. For best taste one can simply mix the mustard and mayonnaise until both ingredients are well balanced, or gone a little fancier and to make a creamy parmesan dip.
  6. Mustard seeds are bitter in taste if eaten raw. When raw mustard seeds are chewed, there is immediate relief from a headache, back spasms, congestion and also constipation as mustard seeds are high in fiber.
  7. Gratin dauphinois is a Classic French with little bland for my taste. Cooking potatoes with Dijon mustard, cheddar cheese, and sliced onions tastes awesome if you’re in the mood for full-on comfort food.
